Microneedling
Erase your skin issues
Microneedling uses controlled healing to help address your skin concerns
How it works
SkinPen® by Bellus Medical is the first and only FDA-approved microneedling device. Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is used to reduce common signs of aging and other skin issues. Fine needles are used to create micro-injuries in the skin, which stimulate the healing process, increasing the production of collagen and elastin.
*Add ‘PRP’ to your treatment (see below)

SKINPEN MICRONEEDLING WITH PRP
Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is often used in combination with microneedling to stimulate the production of new collagen, improve your body’s healing response, and regenerate skin cells. Microneedling with PRP has been shown to have an impressive effect when helping individuals improve concerns on the face and décolleté such as:
- Scars
- Skin laxity
- Wrinkles
- Sun damage
- Poor skin tone and texture
About SkinPen Microneedling with PRP:
How it works
Your blood will be drawn and spun in a centrifuge to separate the PRP, which contains a high concentration of platelets and other growth factors. The plasma is then applied to your face and neck during your microneedling session. The micro-injuries caused by the microneedling procedure allow your skin to absorb the PRP and begin to regenerate new skin cells, resulting in an improved appearance and healthy glow.
You may experience minor discomfort during treatment, which can be alleviated with a topical anesthetic.
Why we love it!
- Downtime is minimal, but usually includes mild redness and irritation that lasts for one to three days.
- PRP is a regenerative process.
- Results will begin to appear 1-2 weeks after treatment and continue to improve over time.
- For optimal results, three treatment sessions spaced one to two months apart are generally recommended.
